If your business is totally dependent upon you and your efforts, you have no separation.
It is not easy for a small business to get to the next level. But generally, after learning how to make sales and delivering what you’ve promised, you get into “the business behind the business”.
First, you must have an accounting system in place.
Secondly, you must have a tax strategy in place that allows you to grow the business.
Third, you must achieve separation. Even if you you are willing to work the 18-hour days and the 96-hour work-week, you can’t do it forever and you can’t do it very long without tremendous damage to you as a person. We know that you want to get rich and you want that immediately and you are willing to sacrifice home, family and marriage to do it.
Our advice is to not do that. Plenty of business owners have gotten to where you want to be without that kind of personal destruction. If you don’t believe us, we’re sorry we can’t help you. Building REAL value in your business is what we are all about.
